Clinical Assistant

Joining Artisan in 2014 felt like a natural progression to my career as a dental assistant. Although I started my training as a Social Worker in health care, I had always wanted to be involved with dental health. Now, with nearly 25 years as a dental assistant, I can say that I love all aspects of my job. Working directly with patients during their procedures is fulfilling on many levels—I like helping people through dental anxieties, and I also enjoy helping to provide high quality dental work that improves patients’ health and wellbeing! When not working with patients, you can find me in the Artisan lab, making dental appliances too!

In my free time, I enjoy reading, gardening, hiking, biking, making jewelry, loving my golden doodle, and spending time with my family. My husband and I have two boys who are nearly adults. As my kids become more independent, I’m finding more time for hobbies, traveling, and enjoying my husband’s incredible cooking! I look forward to meeting you and providing exceptional dental care while you are at Artisan!
