In 2023 Dr. Nicole Andersen was again names topDentist by her collegues since 2011. In 2023 Artisan received the Great Places to Work certification. Additionally, in 2023 Scott Andersen was awarded the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council’s, Sustainable Leadership Executive Award. This same year Artisan’s Impact Report won two American Graphic award in the Designing for Good and Wellness categories. In 2022, Artisan Dental received the Community’s Excellence Award.
In 2020 and 2021 Artisan Dental was named Climate Champion by Dane County Office of Energy & Climate Change. In 2021 Artisan Dental received the Communitas Award, a MarCom Award and our Director of Business Development was honored with the AADOM Green Leader Award. In 2017, 2018 & 2019 Artisan Dental was recognized by Madison Magazine as a Best Place to Work in the small company category. We incorporate a wide range of sustainability practices as a conscious daily endeavor including measures such as the purchase of 100% of our electrical energy needs from renewable sources through MG&E Green Power program. We also purchase certified carbon offsets for all other energy uses and company travel that comprise Scopes 1, 2, & 3 greenhouse gas emissions. The Artisan Dental Recycling Program is the first oral care recycling program in the Dane County area that is open to the public. We are the United States, 2nd Certified B Corporation dental practice, a member of Sustain Dane and its Sustainable Business Network as well as Dane Buy Local.
Artisan Dental is the first carbon negative general dental practice in the United States. Artisan Dental offsets 120% of the greenhouse gas emissions associated with its operation including team business travel, team member commutes, office energy, and procurement of all supplies and materials required to provide your oral health care services.
