We would like to thank everyone for participating in our Artisan Dental Recycling Program, the first oral care products recycling program in the Dane County area. The program is designed to help keep toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes, floss containers, deodorant containers, soap wrappers and mouthwash containers out of landfills. The Artisan Dental Recycling Program participates in the Tom’s of Maine Natural Care Brigade®, a recycling program sponsored by Tom’s of Maine ® and TerraCycle®. The Artisan Dental Recycling program is also able to earn money for charity. For each piece of waste sent to TerraCycle, Artisan Dental earns two points which are converted into a cash donation to non-profit organizations. Materials collected as part of the Artisan Dental Recycling program will be recycled into a variety of products, such as cutting boards, trash cans and bath caddies. To date you have donated over 16,000 items earning over 32,000 points! Together, we were able to make cash donations through this program to 7 non-profit organizations right here in our community!
